We haven't stayed at Robin Hill since the 1990's when we used to take our scouts there. It was really nice back then. I see the 2 reviews that say they're adding sites and seasonals. That's a shame, and it's what you're going to find in that area - lots of seasonals at most of the campgrounds. I've heard bad things about Mountain Springs, which is one of the others in that area. We're more into state and national parks since the kids are grown. The closest state park would be Locust Lake which is 45 minutes north. So, if you're coming from the north that might be an option, then take a drive down to Cabella's. It has a nice little lake, ice cream shop / store, paved bicycle path around the lake, and trails. Only has electric for hookups though.
