Looking for a campground in the Lancaster, PA area

I would like to find a nice woodsy campground around the Lancaster, PA area. Possibly with a stream. Also in need of some real fishing spots, either fly fishing or spinning tackle. My boys and I will appreciate any help.

Old Mill Stream is right on Rt.30 next to Dutch Wonderland. It also borders the namesake stream. Don't know how the fishing is however

The campgound is very nice. Some of the T shaped sites can be a challenge to get into.

I saw that campground, but wanted something away from that amusement park. Not our cup of tea! Something a bit more rural. But thanks!

The nice part about Dutch Wonderland is it is made for the younger set and closes around 9pm. But, I understand.

White Oak Campground near Quarryville is fairly nice, though some of the sites are tight. It's about 20 minutes south east of Lancaster.

I will look into White Oak, thanks! My boys are older and don't like rides, they would much rather fish or go gem mining. Any gem mining in PA?
Thanks!

I haven't answered this because I don't know any places to fish at the campground besides Old Mill Stream. But, there are some reviews of Lancaster area campgrounds in this section of this website that you could check. If you go north of Lancaster there are a few campgrounds that have ponds - Lake In Wood and Spring Gulch come to mind as 2 of the nicer ones. (but expensive) My guess is that Oak Creek may have a creek, but you'll have to call them to see if it's fishable.

How about a State Park? Codorus and Gifford Pinchot both have lakes.
