Personal Comments:

This one is going on my personal favorite list. Not because the campground itself is that much better than other PA state parks, but because of the surrounding area. We were able to take a 4 mile kayak float on the Little Pine Creek right from the campground - although I am told that is only because of the extreme amount of rain they've gotten this year. If you have to drive to the larger Pine Creek to kayak it's only 4 miles, as is the ~56 mile Pine Creek Rail Trail. The hiking at this park is all very very strenuous, but Mr. Tweety said that the views from the top of the mountains are fabulous. If you aren't into kayaking and bicycling then this might not be the place for you, but if you are it's great!
