Personal Comments: We really enjoyed this park. Our site was enormous, although not all of them are as big. The online map is fairly accurate in depicting how close together the sites are. The hike to the overlook is very pretty. I would recommend NOT going down the "log slide" trail, but returning to the campground the same way you came up. The log slide is trecherous, and although we made it down that way, it is VERY steep and slippery, and my legs were really sore the next day. The playground is not in the campground, but across a busy road over by the lake, so that would be an issue if you have young kids.

Hi Tweety. Glad you enjoyed your visit to my back yard lol. We live 6 miles from the park. The park is actually in Huntingdon County. Belleville is in Mifflin County. Just in case someone should try and locate it. We will be there in October this year as camp ground hosts for 2 weeks.

Maybe see you next year! It's a really nice campground. We'll be back up again for the raffle...
