Good campground for first time out suggestion? SE PA

We've been doing a ton of research for a good, local campground for our first time out. We are right on the Montgomery County / Chester County line - near the Limerick Power Plants

We definitely want pull through sites. We are not looking for a primarily seasonal site campground

We have ruled out
Allentown KOA
Homestead Campground in Green Lane
Lazy K in Bechtelsville

Maybe, but sites seemed tight for a first time trip
Lickdale

Kind of leaning towards
Jonestown KOA - looks like a nice campground, though the reviews say that staff is miserable

Nice campground but would like to save for a summer trip
Pine Grove KOA

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Country Acres would be a nice place for a first time out. It has nice pull through sites, NO seasonals, and is near Lancaster. It's one of our favorite places to go for a quick getaway.

We did our first trip at French Creek State Park. That's a very nice park in your neck of the woods, however, I do not believe they have any pull-thru sites.

If it's not fitting for your first trip, I'd certainly recommend it for a quick trip in the future!

Have a great first trip!

I can confirm that French Creek does not have pull throughs.

Camping near Lancaster Pa

Country Acres is a very nice campground. Also, north on 272 where it ends near route 222, in Adamstown is "Sills Family Campground" that you may consider also.
