Well .... I found this online:
Frances Slocum State Park is a 1,035-acre Pennsylvania state park in Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
PA*DCNR*-*Frances Slocum State Park
Nope, never been there.

Hmmm... trivia fans take note: (poster, reviews follow)
Frances Slocum (Mo-con-no-qua, "Young Bear" or "Little Bear") was an adopted member of the Miami tribe. She was taken from her family home near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1778 by a small group of Indians of the Delaware tribe around the age of five. Slocum was raised by the Delaware tribe in what is now Ohio and Indiana. Not much is known about Slocum's life with Indians. Most of the information about her focuses on her later years after she was reunited with her white relatives near Peru, Indiana in 1837. [1]

and
Frances Slocum State Park - Woodall's Campground Directory
For pictures of just about anything, go to Google and at the top choose "images" and then do your search. You can sift through the many pictures to get some idea of the park and, hopefully, a few photos of the campsites.

I have Googled Images and very little comes up.Almost nothing on the campground which is why i asked here.It is very annoying that many campers do not take pictures of their campsites. They take pictures of their kids, ducks, flowers, the lake but not campsites!

Well, to be honest, the pictures of the kids, etc. will be remembered and treasured. An empty campsite, not so much. The fellow below has many pictures on his website. It is lovely, so I am sure the campsites are fine. Maybe he has pictures in his files of the campsites that are not posted. Also, Google Earth lets you zoom right in to see things up close. You may find it useful or perhaps the park itself would be helpful if you called. Good luck!

OK !! This guy took video of his campsite, wife, fire pit (what's this guy burning ? A chair?) and set it to "Classical Gas". All you could ask for on the campsite. To the right, he's put other videos. I don't have time to watch them all, but I am sure they will provide you with the info you need!

Yes, please do X2. We pass through PA from NYS to Ohio and pick a new PA state park each year. I've seen this one on the maps, never stayed. Always looking for a neat new place to camp.

Yes..it is our local favorite park!! Sites are mostly wooded..beautiful lake for fishing or boating, good dump station , several water locations, 30 and 50 amp sites..also about 20% are pet friendly..we always stay on 46 thru 54 with our pets....pool is probably closed now for the season. I will be happy to provide directions from any of the main routes for you..
Don't know where you are located, but Locust Lake near Mahanoy City is also a beautiful park..it is about 8 miles off route 81.
Lackawanna St.Pk. outside of Scranton off 81 is also located on a pretty lake--not one of our favorites due to the personnel there. Janalee

I thought you'd know it Janalee!! I actually went to your page to pm you to see if you'd respond to the post, but I got a phone call and never did follow through. Thinking this may be a super nice place to stop one night on way to Buttonwood next year, if things fall into place for that trip.

Tom..you can locate this on your map of Pa. by checking out the Wilkes Barre area-the park is located approx. 12 mi. off 81,taking route 309N. to Trucksville .. there are signs from there to park.
