Personal Comments:
We took our two neices up here for the weekend, and they had a blast. There are tons of things to do to keep the kids busy. The campground has hiking trials, is on the beach and situated right beside a river that was loaded with kids. The surrounding area of Ludington is beautiful. There are also many area attractions close by and many nice rivers to Canoe or kayak
This is a great spot to bring the family. I'd be leary of going if it was just Cindy and I as every camper had a full camper of kids of all ages. Make sure to bring bikes. The campground is huge and quite a walk to the beach if you're stuck in the back.
