Need a dust cap and lug covers..

Due to our blowout last week,we now need a fender replacement or do any of you have a "fix" for replacing about a four inch piece of plastic fender end, ???? and we also need the black dust cap for the axle end and the black plastic lug nut covers...not looking to spend a bunch as we are trading the unit in or selling it pretty soon...Janalee

Since the tabs on the center caps crack off and the lug nut covers crack so often, finding used ones will be as easy as finding a 1968 Sunline.

Your best bet is to go to an RV dealer...the caps are somewhere between $6-$10 and the caps I think are $2.95 each. At least thats what I think they were around here when I replaced some on my '98 last year.

Are the lug covers just for style? Any purpose?

Yes, the main purpose is for style, but they do serve another purpose. They keep the studs and nuts clean so they aren't as likely to rust.

Some people prefer to leave them off all the time if they check the lug tightness every 200 miles like the sticker says, but not many people actually do or actually travel that distance in a time to remember to do it.

If the trailer will sit some, it might be a good idea to cover them, as well as just cover the whole tire.
