Curtain carrier loops
When the vandals broke through my window, they broke 2 of these. Going by eye they're about 3/8" diameter and just over 1/2" long.
I don't think they're worth $15 shipping. But if someone has a couple laying around that they'll never use, I'll send you a SASE so it won't cost anything.
Otherwise I'll take a look around next time I have to go to the junkyard and maybe I'll get lucky and find a couple.
It's not really a big deal, the curtain stays up, but I would like to fix them sometime.
Thanks.[/img]

I hope this isn't Swain's in Bellaire. I hear they had a pretty big fire there recently...

Actually it is Swains. I love that place, been going there for the last 12 years or so. My 9 year old daughter loves it too. About 4 years ago I got a free RV extension cord there. I cut the cord and matching outlet off an old motorhome. I asked them how much and they said just take it. So I got home and put the two together and made a heavy 30 amp extension cord.
I heard about the fire too. Reports said it started to spread to the trees but besides taking a pole barn it didn't do too much damage and they were open for business the next day. If that's the case then it was probably the pole barn in the back next to the woods, not the one right next to their home trailer with no trees nearby. They're kinda different folks but they're always nice and always fair.
I live about 40 miles from there, I'll get a chance to go there again eventually.

IF you happen to have a fabric or curtain shop in your area, you might want to check in there. I believe I remember seeing them in my Jo-Anns Fabric. I don't know that I'll be near mine any time soon, but if I am, 'llI try to remember to take a look for you. Maybe even try a marine store.

I found some today.
I had to go to Swains today and get some parts anyway, so I took a look through the many campers they had there. One, and only one, of them had some of these little curtain loops in it. Turns out it was also the same motorhome that I got the extension cord from way back when. What are the chances of that? So I grabbed a handful. BTW, I didn't see a single Sunline there. Most seem to be 70s or early 80s trailers, and there are a quite a few homemade jobs there. Just like most of the cars, they have a lot of OLD stuff.
My thoughts were correct, the fire was in the back pole barn. The whole side of it is gone, the roof is sagging, and the trees in that little section of woods are all sooted and the ground is black from soot. Besides the barn, I'd say it didn't do too much damage. Only a handful of vehicles aren't there anymore. I'd say 98% of the yard is the same as it always was.
We do have a Joann Fabric in Petoskey. The wife had taken the photo and info in and they didn't have anything like that.

Marine supply house. That is most likely a boat style curtain holder.
