Do you know when they started prewiring?

Early '80s I believe. My '86 was prewired, and I've seen a decent amount of earlier ones with it added, which makes me think they were prewired.

The Orbiter was a whole different beast though, I've never actually seen one in person! I agree, I would doubt it was. If it was, there should be a small cover plate on the ceiling with the wiring.

Mine is definitely not prewired but that wouldn't really be an issue. Would like to see if I could get a small roof mount for it. It is a small trailer and I won't put a unsightly window unit in it. Really love that little guy

What about the vents in the bathroom? Are those pre-wired for adding fans?

So I was incorrect about my sunline. I bought it from a deer lease and I only got a bill of sale. It is a 12 1/2 mc and I have the serial number but no bin. Was in bad shape when I got it. What I need is if someone can help me with the year. I now think it to be a 77. Had all the options but I need to get some parts. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a roof vent it should be 14X14 that is the opening size for a roof top AC. If the bath vent is wired it's only for 12 volts.

Yes, that picture is of a 12 1/2' MC. It looks like a '78 or '79 from the picture. Sunlines didn't have a true VIN until late 1980, when the 17 digits became national standard. Prior to that, serial numbers (used for titles) were five or six digits, with the last two being the year. What are those last two digits on your serial number?
