Hi Donna,
We are buying a Sunline, T-2499, like yours but a 2004. Yours is a good deal!!! I've looked for an explanation on how to convert the sliding extension table to secure it for travel and can't find anything! Can you explain...or send a couple of pics please? Thanks in advance! Barb (in Michigan)

Hi Barb,
Here's what I did and it works very nicely:
First mount a window latch (Home Depot, Lowes) on the table section that's closest to the wall, mount the corresponding hook on the leaf:
Then find or make an "L" shaped piece of steel on the other end of the leaf so the factory latch can grab it when the leaf is in:
The last photo shows the leaf removed with both these hooks mounted at opposite ends:
When the leaf is in place and both hooks are engaged, the table cannot slide apart, so you can tow with the table set up with the leaf in place. We just about never remove the leaf or fold up the table, but in the rare cases when we do, I also formed a piece of plastic at the wall end of the table (see beige item in first photo) to hold the leg from falling when I fold it up. Otherwise, I had to hold the leg tightly up against the table as I folded it.

Hi Barb
We traveled with the table up and had no problems.

HI Donna,
Thanks for the info but after thinking about it, it's just too big for me. I'm really looking for something closer to 20-21 feet in length (T-1950 or 2075). It looks like a nice clean unit and a good price. I think you'll set it soon.
Thanks again for the info-
Mark
