It is a light one! Dry weight for a '94 1550 is 2085 lbs. However, that number is irrelevant for planning a tow vehicle. The GVWR is 3500 lbs, which includes whatever cargo you can pack in it, and that's what you need to plan a tow vehicle for.
When dealing with lightweight tow vehicles, tow ratings are sometimes more appropriate for boats and other small trailers. The frontal area of a travel trailer can create a huge wind drag, so we recommend picking a vehicle that the trailer GVWR is 75% of the tow vehicle's rating, as well as making sure you have a transmission cooler, if not included from the factory. In addition, you need to be able to stop the trailer in a panic stop, even with working trailer brakes, and likely a vehicle rated to pull less than this will not have sufficient braking power to stop the additional load.
So, for this trailer, one should
choose a tow vehicle rated for 4,666 lbs or more. A vehicle rated for 4500 lbs would probably be fine too.
