2005 Solaris T2409

This was at the RV Show I just attended at MSU. It looks well worn to me and not very well taken care of. The dealer has done nothing to it, not even cleaning it up!

It does have the original owners manual. The VIN # is 1LC2S2L2X5D255965

I did not visible signs of water damage inside and of course could not look at the roof. However, I do not think it was winterized properly as there is brown liquid that was frozen coming from the an outside area (not sure what it is?) Photo 4

It's at P&K Sales in Eaton Rapids MI and listed HERE

They have it listed at over $7,000 but marked it down over a $1,000

I just hat to see them sitting there not taken care of and not being enjoyed

Neglect hurts on a good Sunny. That is a T2499. Dealer has it mixed up. The brown stuff may be signs of a ruptured HW heater. For sure that needs to be check out along with all other fresh water components

The unit is new enough that if someone has the know how and the price is better they could have a really nice camper. This one needs an A frame check and if not bent, then it will need a fix before use which would be cheap before bending it. Dealer may have no idea.

Also noticed they changed the main awning. That is not the original it is a few feet shorter. Hope they sealed up the holes in the gutter area and the lower foot from the original awning mount. You might get lucky on the lower foot but the gutter rail area if not plugged correctly can be a real big deal.

It looks like the holes for the bottom of the rear awning arm were not filled so they probably didn't do the upper ones either. As John said, that could become a real issue.

Its sad. It wasn't taken care of at all. Some people just store and when they use it take it out of storage and return it when done. Repeat.

I went with my brother last summer to look at a T1950 for him and I could not believe that this couple, who lived in a super nice expensive home would show their Sunline in such a dirty condition!

When I see this, I wish I had the extra cash to rescue and restore!

That is sad to see. Agreed on the awning and water heater, even though the water heater thing may just be some road grime that somehow froze on there with the extreme cold.

Also noticed that the fenderskirts are different, the originals of course were white plastic. These look like they might be wood. I'll admit though, they look pretty good. I bet they had a blowout at some point with one of those lovely Missions.

Well it does have the hinged LP cover...
