I put our order in today. They are now down to 21 left.
Crystal is great, what great customer service. I wanted to confirm that my ST225/75R15's tires that are 28.3" OD would work. So she measured one and we compared the diameter difference. She measured 23 1/2. Yup it fits.
The ST20575R15's used on the 7,000# Sunlines have an OD of 27.1" They would still fit I do belive, just it would rap around the OD of the tire some. Which may be better in many aspects then the glove like fit of the ST225/75R15. My orignal one cracked to pieces it was shrunk fit on.
I am also going to use 303 UV protectant on them from new. That will for sure help slow down the UV damage.
I'm using them for tire covers like the other folks. Have to post a pic when I trim out the bottom part. I expect them late this week or next.
This was for sure a great find for us Sunline owners. The power of our camping club just keeps on delivering.
Thanks
John

It is great to see so many members able to take advantage of the spare tire covers.
Since this will probably be the last we will ever see of the originals, it is going to be a challenge to make them last for many years to come.
As John mentioned in his last reply, 303 protectant is a great suggestion to help stop the degrading of the vinyl, additionally I just wanted to pass along a tip that a dealer gave me as to how to stop the cover from darkening where it comes into contact with the tire itself.
He advised me to wrap cling wrap around the tire tread, and that will stop the chemical reaction between the tire rubber and the cover itself, and thereby prevent the cover from discoloring.
I have used the wrap on my 06 T1950 spare tire, and it definitely seems to work.
I hope this suggestion is of some help to everyone.
Denny

A cold weather tip I learned the hard way... The Camping World covers are very brittle and just should not be removed except out of desperation at anywhere near freezing or lower. I doubt that 303 will help with this.
I also learned that a 303'd tire will really stain the cover.

While I bought a supply of these tire covers as future replacements for my spare tire, I use inexpensive canvas covers from Harbor Freight on my trailers while parked between trips:
4 Piece Storm-Proof Wheel Covers - Up to 24"
They don't last as long as the vinyl covers, but they don't cost much and they are easy to put on/take off. The canvas has a metal hoop sewn into the edge that slips over and grips the tire.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! We have sold out of the tire covers and we couldn't have done it without all of you! Everyone I've talked to has been very friendly and its been great talking to all of you. Of course I will post anything else that we (or our other divisions) find involving sunline products on my favorite camping website. Thanks again!

A big "thank you!" to Crystal and Denny for giving all of us the chance to have original Sunline tire covers.
Thank you, Crystal, for thinking of SOC members and giving us the chance to keep our Sunlines as original as possible if you find other Sunline items in the future.
