Electric tongue jack upgrade?

I am wanting to replace my manual tongue jack with an electric unit. My trailer is a 1997 Sunline Saturn T24 with a GVWR of 5500lbs.

What brands are reliable and won't break my small bank account? I see many brands of many price ranges online through many outlets and I have no idea what to focus on other than all metal gears for durability/reliability. Is Bulldog a good brand? I see a lot of them around.

Any experiences good and bad are welcomed. Please guide me in the proper direction. Thanks!

Tongue weight is more relevant number than GVWR since the tongue is what you are lifting. I have the Husky Brute and I like the features on it. I think it is rated for 2000 lbs. Very easy install.

We upgraded to a Barker VIP power tongue jack model 30826 about two years ago, and couldn't be happier with it. It's rated for 3000 lbs. The quality is first rate, the jack works perfectly every time, and the installation took us all of 20 minutes. And, the unit is 100% made in America. Amazon has them now for $199.--worth every penny.
