Well, I'm in it now!

Greetings: first time RV owner and diving into a full rehab of 2005 Sunline T-2499 Solaris. Although I have been a general contractor for 15 years, lots to learn here and I plan on asking lots of questions!

Welcome! As a GC, you're ahead of the game in some areas and behind the eight ball in others. Some of the details in these campers are noticeably different from how you'd build a house or an addition. Ask away.

Welcome rwdelling!

A full rehab on your T2499, is this a water damage repair or a make over for a new look?

This is the place for Sunline info! and as Tin stated, do not be thinking a camper is built like a house or is as substantial as a house.

While the camper has everything including the kitchen sink like a house, the similarities seem to stop there.

The good news, everything in these Sunline is repairable or replaceable. They were built better then most of their competition and still, better then many brand new ones from other brands.

Have fun and ask away! Consider creating a new post on your rehab efforts, and remember pics, they go a long way in explaining what you are up against.

John
