Talking Well, hello there!

Hi there!

My husband and I just purchased a 1982 Sunline M-15 1/2 travel trailer this past Saturday. It's a bit of a project but we have the tools to make it our own! This is our first camper and it seems to be in pretty good shape considering its age. We did not expect to own a camper in out thirties but couldn't pass up the deal. Lucky we got it home without any issues - had to pickup a set of break lights on the way though.

The camper was used as a hunters sleeping quarters for several years so we started with a good cleaning and inspection for unwelcome guests. From there I started my research while my husband, a carpenter and cabinet maker by trade, started some demo and water damage investigation.

I've already found a lot of information and inspiration on the forum and look forward to learning more about our new and exciting project.

Best Regards,

Rebecca & Mark W

P.S. We found a lot of original manuals and paperwork in the camper. There was some animal activity but as soon as I get it in protective sheets I'll scan and post what we found.

P.S.S. Photos to come.

Welcome Rebecca and Mark!

Congrats on your new Sunny.

We are here to help and glad to. And we too learn from your new ideas on fixing up a camper

Your hubby has the perfect skill set for fixing up a Sunline!

See this reply I made to a fellow member on starting into doing water damage repair. It might help

Have fun with your camper project!

Hi! Welcome to the forum. I, too am fairly new here. I joined after I got a 1978 T-1750 for free on Craigslist! I’ve been fixing her up too and my wife and I plan our first trip this October. It’s a lot of work but I love it! Enjoy your project and definitely keep us posted with pics! (Here’s some pics of mine) 67875386739__D80A4C99-E8C3-48F4-B0BB-8769BC04C80B.jpg

Awesome, can't wait to see the paperwork! It's becoming harder to find original paperwork. I'm still on the lookout for an original '82 color brochure for my collection too.
