Wantabe No Longer
Hi Everyone
Well, we just made it home from a 1300 mile round trip to Mich to pick up our New To Us Sunline T1950. It was a one owner and only used 5 times. It still smells new inside and we just absolutely love it. We can't wait to start using it. It pulled great behind our Expedition and we couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone for all of the input and we love your Sunline Forum. I have really learned a lot from it. Maybe we will see you on the road sometime.
Jim and Mary Jane

Congrats MOKID on the T1950, we just traded ours in for a 195SR back in November. You will love the 1950 as we did, I hated to let her go. Happy camping to you.

Welcome
A big welcome from another T-1950 owner located in Maryland. We also tow with an Expedition and are thrilled at how easy the SUV pulls the Sunline. It's a great combination. What year is your Sunline and your Expedition?

Our New to Us T1950
We bought a 2005 T 1950 out of Warren Mich. Our Expedition is a 2000 and we may upgrade in a few years as we have a few miles on the Expedition. As I mentioned before when we were looking that our plan is to drive to Alaska in a few years. It is our big dream.

Diane and Marshall,
What kind of mileage do you get with the Expedition towing and not towing?
Thank you,
Norm Milliard

Expedition MPG
Our Expedition is a 2 wheel drive and we normally get around 18-19 MPG but I checked it coming home across Illinois in a strong head wind and got 11-12 MPG pulling the T 1950. That is the first time I pulled it and will be checking it in the future again.

Our Expedition is 4WD. When towing the mileage varies from 9 to 12 MPG with maximum mileage towing on flat roads. Regular mileage is 15-18.

Congrats on your new coach and glad to have you with us. 1,300 miles round trip, you beat us! We where a little over 1,000 miles round trip for our last Sunline. And I can attest, the drive was worth it. We totally love our T310SR as we did our prior Sunline.
Good luck and when you can, post some pic's. We are really into seeing each others campers and where you go camping.

Wow, the T-1950 owners are coming out. Welcome, you'll love the unit, it's just the right size.
I've towed with a 6 cyl Nissan and got 9mpg and now with my F-150 I get 11, 18 is the best not towing anything.
Have fun.
