Sunline M-345 5th Wheeler

Greetings all!

My wife and I just purchased a 2003 model 345 fifth wheeler.

Do any of you have any tips, advice, guidance, suggestions, etc... that you could give us?

We are open to all discussions and would really like to hear from anyone who currently or has owned a model 345.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Bob & Lisa Browning

Kathy & Leo,

Thanks for replying! It is my pleasure to be part of this Forum. I think it is very, very cool to see something like this happening.

Hopefully someone out there can give me some of the info that I asked for.

The unit we purchased is very, very clean and I can tell the prior owners were proud of their unit.

I guess my big concern is what happens if I have to replace a slide motor, water heater, or some other part that wears out over time.

Take care and be safe.

Bob

Welcome

One of the first things to look at is the roof. Check ALL the caulking around the edges and vents. A small crack or void could mean a leak. Clean and reseal with Dicor.

As far as the TT it's just a shell with other manufactures parts in it. There is lots of info on this forum and people willing to help with a specific problem.
Photos and make of the item your talking about are helpful. one person may not have slides but has replaced a water heater etc.

Go to file tab at top of page and you can find your unit. It's capacities It's weight etc.

Welcome to the SOC!

If you have the VIN handy, please give it to SunlineFan.. He will be able to give you a ton of useful information about that specific unit.

We have a F-344SR, which is a two-slide Sunline fifth wheel. The only club member I know of, that had a F-345SR is delcon88.. (Paul & Terri) They traded it in on a motorhome.

Congratulations on your purchase and again, welcome!

Hi Bob,

Congrats on your new camper!

Odds are very high your 2003 unit has the Lippert slide system. You can buy parts direct like here: http://store.lci1.com/storefront.aspx

Of there are other places that offer as well, Like here: LippertRepairParts.com

The hot water heater is an Atwood if it was original and Atwood Mobile is still going strong. There are many places that sell these.

For your 2003 unit we have found just about everything available so far. Or shall I say we have found everything folks has asked about which is most everything. The harder part may be decals but we now have some options on them now too.

You have found the right place for Sunline coach info. Just ask away and we try and help. We also like to hear and "see" your Sunline adventures. We really like pics!!!

Have fun in your new camper.

John

Welcome, Bob and Lisa. What a nice camper and, from the pixs, well-cared-for! We have an '02 2363 with the same interior colors, think it's called "misty green floral." Enjoy your 345!
