Proud new owner of a 93 Sunline T-225
This camper needs lots of work, got it for free. I'm very excited to use it. The outside is coated with grime, missing fridge. Hot water tank is broke and bypassed, and have 2 soft spots on the floor. Any suggestions would be wonderful. .. thanks

Congrats! A friend had this year/model as a kid, and I helped them fix it up as they/it got older. What part of MI are you in?
Even though I'm sure you are tempted, I would avoid pressure washing the exterior. It can damage the roof and side seams can cause even more water problems. I'd start with a bucket of soapy water and a good brush. You may have to wash it twice, but it'll be better for the trailer.
I'd recommend resealing the roof as well, because if it hasn't been done, it's probably overdue.

Nice! Where are the 2 soft spots on the floor? On my 2000 Solaris I thought I had a clear water tank issue so I tore the beds and tank out, fixed the floor and recovered the whole floor with peel and stick tiles because I don't like carpet. A few years later and the floor was shot again along with some of the interior walls. I didn't realize that the water was coming in at the roof line and trim so now I'm fixing the roof, trim and then will go inside to do the walls and floor. Just something to think about when trying to figure out the cause of the issue. For the fridge, you can probably find a used one on ebay or a new one if you want to spend the money. Do you see the propane line that ran to the fridge and if it is capped off? You may be able to fix the water heater but you will need to take lots of pictures as some things are easier to figure out that way.

Thanks Steve, we are sealing everything. Soft spots are by the table and in the bathroom. Great idea on that line going to the fridge, I'll check that this weekend. Thanks again

Thank you Sunline Fan, we cleaned up the outside with a concentrated cleaner with bleach and water. We wiped it off and presto, she looks like new. Thanks for the advice. I live in Grayling. Bought supplies to redo soft spots, that will be this weekends project. I'll try to post pictures.

Awesome! With as cold as it is up by you, hopefully you winterized all the water systems already!
There was a '93 2251 on Airport Road in Traverse for many years, parked next to a house. It was replaced with a new trailer last year or the year before. I wonder if this is the same one.

It came from just north of Mio, it had been there for the last 6 years.

Oh ok. There's another one I knew that was on some state land for a while, next to 75, near Sterling. It probably disappeared from there around that time.

It could be, I'll ask the previous owner when I see him.
