New to the forum and new to Sunline !

I go by "DOC" and I am a Civil War relic hunter and usually go to Northern Virginia twice a year to stay for a week or two and relic hunt. I used to sleep in the back of my truck, but my brother in law had this neat little trailer he no longer used so I went and got it. Its a 1976 Sunline 15' and I have been re-sealing and restoring ever since I got it. I have a bunch of pictures and will try and get them posted.

Hi Doc and welcome.

We love pictures around here, and there are some very knowledgeable people about repairs and restoration too.

Diane

Morning Doc,

Welcome to the group and congrats on your n-used Sunline. It will be a nice change from the pickup. As the others have said, we love pictures, so if you get a chance to post any, we sure would love to see them.

Kitty

Here you go Doc:

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/me...-albums67.html

That does look in really good condition and is a true '76! I have to say, I've never seen a picture of that rear decal before. In '76, they went to using the decal only on the front rock guard (you can see a shadow of where it was in one of the pics) and they had a plastic version molded and painted that went on the rear. Not that the plastic lasted much better, but it could at least be painted now, but some did crack and fall off. I have one of these original plastic ones, but I've not even seen a close up picture of the decal until now.

That little black tag I was talking about would look something like this. This is the truck camper version:

I suspect it might be on the front, toward the off door side, probably behind your LP tank if I had to guess based on seeing some black specs in small pics of other units.

I've attached a pic of what that side plastic logo would have looked like new.

Welcome DOC

And thanks for sharing the pics. Nice to see. It is also amazing on how the older decals are still in good shape when the newer ones are totally falling apart.....

Happy camping in you new updated camper.

John
