New to the family.

Just bought a 2006 T-2753. In great shape. Just a little front damage where the previous owner hit something. Not sure what but the dealer I bought it from checked it out and no leaks, all solid. Going to Lake Placid KOA in May for the first trip out. I looked at a lot of campers and the Sunline was the most solid and quality grade I encountered. Paid $9495. Seems like the going price for the model. I just found out today about the low rear hangers in the back of the camper that drag when it comes in contact with the ground. Dealer can raise it up for $350 by about four inches. I am going to try as is for now. Any comments on this issue?

Bye for now Dana & Brian

Welcome! Also from NH!
Was the dealer talking about doing a flip kit to raise it? I am thinking of doing the same if so.

Hi - Welcome to the family!

As far as raising the Sunlne - a lot of members here have slipped the axles....and most where very happy with the results.

We were going to flip but sold our Sunline for a Toy Hauler instead - DH gets to bring his toys and we have as much room as the Sunny - but the new unit has a slid which the Sunny did not.

Enjoy your new to you Sunline and happy camping!

Hi Dana and Brian,

Welcome to the group. We are also thinking about flipping the axles because of the dragging. Like you, we want to try using our 2007 T-2553 a little more before the decision is made. I have a trailer shelter/pavilion that doesn't have much spare head room. Our previous Sunline was lower, so the shelter height was not a problem. Have fun, and good luck with your decision making.

I was Outdoor Sports Center Sat. morning grabbing a few last things for my to do list. Was talking to the owner about flipping my Sunny. He walked me out back to one they just did. I do believe it was yours. Looks good if it was yours.

He also said how much he loves buying Sunlines when he can!
