New to me 1980 122mc Sunline.

Bought 1980 12 ft Sunline in Maryland last weekend. I live in Orlando. Pretty nice inside and out, until I started a better check on the floors and ceiling. Anyways I got alot of work getting out some rotten ceiling and floor. Will be requesting advise shortly.

Congrats on your 1980 12' Sunline! Looks pretty good for its age. If you get a chance, post pixs of the work you do. Welcome to SOC!

Should I post the pics on this thread, or start a b4 and after thread?

Hi WFHudiburg,

Welcome! Nice little camper you have there.

A number of members have created a documentary post on doing water damage repair and taking pics before, during and after have helped many camper folks doing this same repair after you. Plus if you need help, we can see what you are up against. These rebuild posts can become lengthy which does help others following in your foot steps.

This type of documentary fits real well in the "Maintenance and Repair" forum where folks will be looking in the future when they have a problem. Starting a new post this would be a good spot.

Repairs and Maintenance - Sunline Coach Owner's Club

The good news in all this, all is fixable with the way these campers are built. Anyone with wood tools, knowing a level of how to use them and patience and time, the rest becomes a labor of love...

Best of luck to you and ask away on anything in the repair process.

John
