New Sunline owner

Hello all!

New Sunline owner here.

I am being gifted a new to me Sunline in pretty good condition. No leaks or soft spots; does have an issue with furnace which leads me to the concern I have now. The prior owners no longer have any manuals for anything and think it's an '83. I have a vin and model # (1LC2S1K23LD231483... T2363) but can't find anything online to help me understand what I'm getting into.

Any help or direction would be very appreciated!

Hi JSHABAZZ, Welcome!

Congrats on your new Sunny!

Not real sure where the 1983 camper year came from. From your VIN number, it states the camper was a 1990 model year. It could have manufactured in later 1989 or early 1990. Sunline rolled the model year semi mid year that did change a few months one way or the other, but they did not roll on the end of the year.

You stated a T-2363, which is a very popular camper once it stated in 1990 as the first model year.

If you had a typo and it was a T-2263, they go back into the early 80's but ended in 1989 models when the T-2363 came out.

Not sure if a former owner has painted your camper, but if it has the original color, in 1990 models, the color changed. The 80s era had mostly tan campers, and in 1990 models, they turned light grey to later go to white as the years went on. Decals also changed by year, for the most part, we can back into a model year Sunline from the graphics if they have not been painted over.

You have come to the right place for Sunline info. Now that you know you have a 1990 model year camper, you can go to our FILES section to find lots of good stuff.

Our FILES section is an excellent Sunline information resource, including almost all sales brochures, owners manuals, appliance manuals, and other good stuff.

The sales brochure has a lot of good info on your model camper that is hard to come by in one organized spot. Just scroll to your year and download a copy.

We also have copies of the owner's manuals here on our site in the FILES section.

To get to the FILES section, you have to be logged in. Look up top along the forum for the words "FILES." That is a tab; click it. Then select the area you want to go to and read on for hours, days, maybe weeks...

A heads up, RV camper owners' manuals are unlike automobile owners' manual that gives exact instructions on almost everything in your auto. The camper owners' manual generally talks about how things work to help you along the way. For the actual appliances, there are owners manuals with very detailed info on them from the manufacturer of the appliance. We have many of those in the files section too. If your model is not there, give us the make and model no. on the appliance, and we can help search the web for it, then add it to our files section for future help to others.

You are welcome to ask any questions about your camper. You just create a post in the appropriate forum and ask away. We have many areas already answered in old posts, but we are fine with asking questions you need help with.

Hope this helps and have fun this camping season with your new Sunny! Heads up, camping in your Sunline can get very addictive and fun.

John

Welcome!

I echo everything John has said, although to have a "23" in your VIN, that aligns with you having a T-2361/2/3/4 and supporting the 1990 model year code in your VIN. They really didn't have any 23' models in 1983 or in much of the '80s at all, going from 22' to 24'/25'.
