new sunline owner

Good day, thanks for the membership. I recently purchased a 2003 Solaris M-2475. Well as per the title, that is what it is. I cannot located a VIN, manufacture tag or any ID tags that really states what it is. I also cannot find any spec sheet on a M-2475 on the internet as well. My first order of business is to de-winterize the water tank and shock it as well as add chemicals to the black tank. at this point I am guessing on their sizes.
The camper is turn key and I am just looking at fining info about it.
Thanks,

There should be weight sticker with VIN and model number on the inside of one of the cabinet doors. This would also tell you fresh water size. If that is gone there should also be the VIN number under the aluminum trim of the door threshold. If you browse around in the file section of the site you can see the brochures for the different model years that shows the floorplan and tanks sizes.

Welcome Slappy!

Congrats on your new Sunny!

There are 3 places on your 2004 camper to find a VIN number.

1. The outside front left corner of the camper has a VIN tag with model, VIN, tire size, axle ratings. Sometimes the sun fades the tag and you can no longer read it.

2. Inside the camper is a weight sticker. It is often located in the top kitchen cabinet door, the bathroom medicine cabinet or in the bedroom cabinet. Have a look, the model, year and VIN is listed on that weight tag.

3. The last place a VIN tag will show up is under the main entry door threshold. Take out the 2 screws holding the aluminum plate down on the inside, and under there is a tag with your VIN on it.

On tank sizes, in our files section, there are brochures from many of the years on the campers and in the brochures it lists the tank sizes. To get into the file section, you must be logged in, then look at the top of the forum for the word “FILES” click that tab. That will take you into our files area with a lot of good stuff you can download. In the “Brochures” section, scroll to the year of you camper and download a copy. Then look up your model number and it will tell the tank sizes.

Hope this helps and ask away any and all questions!

John
