New Owner in Indiana

My wife and I just picked up a 2003 T-1950 this weekend from Braun Fun Time Campers in Indianapolis. It appears to have seen almost no use from its previous owner.

When our five children were younger we camped with them in a series of popups but got away from camping for several years when the kid's activities kept us busy on the weekends. Now that the last of the kids is in college it's time for the wife and I to get back to some of the activities we've been missing. We like the fact that the T-1950 is a good size for two but not big enough to encourage others to join us.

This will be our first travel trailer so we're at the beginning of the learning curve for a vehicle with plumbing and appliances. After lurking here over the last week or so, it looks like there is a wealth of experience and information available to help get us up to speed quicker than we would on our own.

We're looking forward to visiting several of the Indiana state parks yet this fall.

Good Morning Scott,

I'd like to welcome you & your wife to the group and congrat you on your decision to purchase one of the best trailers built.

From the pic, it looks like new

When I say "best built" I'm not kidding. Take a look at the Hershey RV Show postings, and see that there really wasn't anything that compared to the quality of our Sunlines

We are a group of loyal, informative owners, so if you need help with anything, just post you question/problem and I'm sure you'll get some answers.

Kitty

Welcome Scott,
You have a great looking camper and this was one of our choices but we went with the sunline 195SR. The same floor plan as yours but with an additional 18" of counter space on the left of the stove and a slide out.
It has only one drawback, the extra 1000lbs of weight. But the extra room is worth it. Good luck with your camper. If you have any questions send me an email. RAY

We love our 1950

and in August traveled to Mt. Desert Island, ME, from Maryland. We spent 13 nights in the TT with stops in NY, MA, ME, NH, VT and NJ. Everything worked well and we were very comfortable. It's a great unit and being new to camping, we feel lucky to have bought the Sunline rather than one of the other units we considered.
