Congrats on your new Sunny!
To find out specs on your camper, such as GVWR etc, you can download the 1981 sales brochure from our files section.
To get to the files section, you need to be logged into the forum.
At the top of the forum are tabs, look for the word "FILES" click it.
Once into the files section, scroll down to the "Sunline Brochures" section. Go in there and find a sale brochure for the camper you are looking at and down load a copy.
On where to find a VIN, on your vintage camper, try these 2 places.
Look for a tag on the side of the trailer A frame near the ball coupler. Sometimes they attached a metal tag, sometimes they stamped the number into the frame.
If no VIN is on the A frame, then at the entry door, look down at the door threshold plate that is part of the door frame but sort of jumps the gap onto the floor. The door plate normally has a few screws holding the trim plate to the floor. Take up the plate and see is there is a VIN tag under the plate.
