Funny, I found this forum when I was looking for information from Sunline's website - which is no longer there. I didn't even know they closed. I guess I need to pay a little closer attention. It never dawned on me the manufacturer of such a well made trailer would go under.

I have a 1998 Solaris 2553 which has been rock-solid for all these years. Kids were practically raised camping in it - now they're grown and don't have as much time, if any, to camp with me and my wife.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to meeting up with other local Sunline owners.

Welcome from a transplant from Augusta. Here in New York my unit is parked for the winter and I'm jealous that I can't be camping year round. I used to sail in Clarks Hill lake all year.

Thanks to everyone for replying. As I get older I find I make more mistakes than I used to. My trailer is a 2570, not a 2553 as I posted. Had to go out and look at it to be sure...

Hi Jimiskovs,

Welcome to Sunline Club! We are glad to have you with us.

Don’t worry about the numbers mix up. Which ever model you have, it’s still a Sunline!!

I happened to notice your TV. H’mm, I’m sure you are covered in the pulling and holding up the camper weight department.....

Even though the factory is gone, which is a real bummer, we are here and we assist each other from fix’in to camping and everything in between.

Happy camping and again welcome.

John
