New member - 1989 Sunline Seville

Just purchased our first starter camper a 1989 Sunline Seville I believe 27 foot, but not sure how they measure. Does it include the hitch in front? A total newbie and know nothing. It is a fixer upper most things work in it however the heating and hot water do not. Someone removed the holding tank too because it had leaked. They repaired the floor, but the tank is gone. Water, A/C, fridge, stove all work. I don't really know where to begin without a manual showing what was were. I saw manuals on here but everytime I open one it freezes up my computer and gets stuck before I can see more than 3 pages. Anyone know anything about the water storage tank size and placement? I was told it was under the couch.

Thanks for any help

Congratulations on your "new" camper and welcome to SOC.
Sunline measured from ball to rear bumper, so yes, the hitch is included in length.
You say "someone removed the holding tank" - I think you mean the hot water tank, not the fresh water holding tank.
The hot water tank is most likely 6 gallon. There should be a metal vented door on the outside of the trailer you can open to light the hot water tank which is just inside.
Some questions are easier answered if the year and model of your camper are known. You can find the model by clicking on the "Files" tab at top of page, then "brochures" and scroll down to "1989" to download a brochure showing floor plans. It may take a while to load.

The fresh water holding tank has been removed because it had a leak. The hot water tank is in the trailer still but is capped off and we do not know why. I will try to look at the brochures to clarify the model the only thing I know for sure is it is a 1989 sunline Seville and says T-2952 on the outside of the camper. Thanks for any information.

Tweety,

Can you move the posts from "New to the Club" that downeastbull and I did today to the thread she started called"New Meber - 1989 Sunline Seville. I think that they somehow got mixed in a thread that was started in 2010. I hope I'm making sense.
Thanks!
