Hi Jay, I'm in Strafford NH, welcome to the group. I just got back home yesterday from the meet and greet in the Adirondacks, took the long way home, via the Plattsburg Bluegrass Festival which featured the Bluegrass Music Association Entertainer of the Year winner 'The Gibson Brothers'.

Well if we can come up with with some thing that will work for every one I'll try and work every thing out. I'm going to say after labor day would be the best just about every camp ground on the Saco rents canoes and the canoes season ends after labor day weekend.

After Labor Day works better for me due to work slows down and I would be able to get time off. But I am up for anything. That campground does look good!

Sounds good. I wonder if it could be the first weekend after Labor Day as the Adirondack meet is already set for later in September.

We attended, as did Jack, above, (hi Jack, glad you had fun at the Bluegrass Festival. Nice to meet you at the Adirondack M&G) Possibly other members would attend both and it is nice to have a bit of a break between meets.

I was at the camp ground today doing some work and the owner agrees as soon as the kids go back to school it's dead until Fryeburg fair (usually the first weekend in Oct.) So there would not be a problem having plenty of spaces close together.

Hey Jay, I'm new here also, and my name is JAY too. My wife and I just sold our pop-up and bought an older (1984) Sunliner. I'm about 12 miles of Boston but we bought our TT up your way, in Barnstead, NH. What a ride that was! Towed it home with my '98 Grand Cherokee, a little scary at times when it started waggin' it's tail LOL. Probably should have used my conversion van, it's a little heavier.

So, it seems there is interest in a Sept. 2013 meet and greet. Do we want to start a new thread ? Are we set on the weekend after Labor Day? I think the campground Mainah works at seems ideal. Are we set on that?

Great for me I'll check tomorrow with the camp ground and see what he can give us and then we'll have to figure out how many.

Might not make it that weekend. I have a week of teaching and need to be there Sunday the 8th with my camper. I could stay over Friday the 6th but need to be on the road Saturday.
