New 2007 T-264SR

Hi Everyone,

We looked at many different TT makes and took our time researching each one. Every time we found something we liked, we would become more and more dismayed by all the problems and negative comments we would come across on the web. Although we found lots of positive experiences with other brands, there always seemed to be just as many comments posted by dis-satisfied owners.

After reading about all the problems out there with many of the other brands we were beginning to feel as though maybe buying a TT was not such a great idea after all.

Then one day, I asked a salesman at one of the dealerships we visited what he thought was the best quality TT out there.

He replied, "That's easy. A Sunline. But the company went out of business. Probably because they were built too good."

And that's how we found our way here. We want to thank everyone here for all the helpful info so far, and in the days to come. This site IS the main reason we decided to go with a Sunline.

And yesterday, the wife and I took a little ride down to NJ and bought ourselves a new 2007 264SR that we will hopefully be picking up sometime within the next two weeks

I'm sure a lot of our friends and family will think we're crazy for buying a unit made by a company that recently went out of business.

We know otherwise.

Thanks again.

Congratulations and welcome to the club! Consider coming to the "meet and greet" weekend in August You won't be sorry you bought a Sunline. We've had 3 that have never been back to the dealer for a problem.

Welcome friends!

Once you have posted here - that is what you become - a friend! Where in NJ did you buy your coach?

DH & I are originally from NJ and moved to Old Forge, NY about 9 - 10 years ago and won't go back......

We bought a 2006 T1950 and just traded up for a T2499....so guess what, we along with many others have purchased a Sunline knowing that they are out of business......

If you have any questions or concerns just post them here, someone will pipe out with an answer!!!

Good luck and happy camping with your new coach!

Good Morning Mike,

As you now know, you have purchased one of the finest COACHES ever built. Quality does come at a price, so infortunately Sunline had to close it's doors due to folks purchasing quanity instead of quality. And as for your family/friends thinking your nuts for purchasing a Sunline, just tell'em "Well, I have a lot of other Nuts in the Sunline Club " I lived in South Jersy, 14 miles outside of Atlantic City, left there in 1989 and never want to go back, not even to visit.

WELCOME TO OUR GROUP

Kitty

Looks like people buying 264SR's are catching up to the people with 2499's. Great floorplan, you're going to love it.

I researched many trailers before buying Sunline. I wasn't pleased with the company going out of business but due to the quality behind the product I feel confident that this unit will be around for some time.

My plans of retiring and heading out across the country have been sidetracked a little because of a new job, but my plans are staying warm on the back burner and not cooled off.

Good luck to everyone, be safe on those highways.
