My first Sunline

Hello everyone. After months of research and dreaming of owning a RV I finally purchased my first RV. I purchased a used 2005 Solaris 264 SR today. I am confident that I made the right choice and can't wait to use it over labor day weekend.

This Sunline will also be my home for a few months after I move to Pensacola FL. I might even be able to have it right on the beach while I wait for my house.

I am very excited and can't wait to see you all on the road.

Now I need to figure out what are "must haves" of RVing.....

Any Advice?

Wow! Is the Nissan enough truck to pull that size TT? Hope you have a sturdy hitch setup and a top-notch brake controller.

Well, I had the same concern. I got the Prodigy BC and Reese DC. I am a member of a Nissan forum and a lot of guys pull TT of equal or greater weight. They assured me that it won't be a problem. Tow weight was not my concern but Tongue weight. We'll see in 2 days. I'll let you know.

It's good to have some track record from other Nissan users. Also, that DualCam and Prodigy will provide a good towing experience. Hope you like your move to Pensacola. We bailed out of NJ as well.

pulled my trailer home on Weds. 1 hour 40 mins. It pulled great with the Titan. I had plenty of throttle left at 55 mph. that was the speed limit on the roads on the way home. 8 mpg wasn't that much fun though.
