More than we bargain for!!!
My dad and I just purchased a 1995 sunline solarist 2363 for $900.00 with a title! I wasn't able to go see it but my dad said it looked pretty good to him and he purchased it. When we was able to go pick it up two weeks later, we went straight to get new tires so we could make it home. After assessing the work ahead of us, we found that the roof was history! Two major water leaks and entire floor has to be replaced. I dont believe it will be ready for camping till next year. Total roof replacement. Total floor replacement. New waterheater. New cabinets. Queen bed is gone and bunks to replace with one twin and two singles. Front couch is gone to be replaced with love seat sleeper sofa. New kitchen with full counter. Of course this is a dream that will become reality! We can do it!!

Welcome and congrats! Wow, it sure has a lot of water damage! Glad to hear you'll be fixing it up right, and I admire your confidence in getting it done. Most people really hesitate to open it up to remove the rot like you have.

Thank you! This site and information from you all ,also You Tube, has given us confidence that one day this trailer will be on a beach somewhere or in the woods! After reading some of the threads about maintenance with these Sunline TT. Or any other one, we have come to one conclusion, MAINTENANCE IS VITAL!!! Sorry, just venting. Thanks again for all of y'alls insights on this site!

Thanks Tod! I have had the luxury of staying in other peoples TT and this is our first. Just picked up the new Xtrem pvc roof material today! Going with 3/8th decking. Should be able to dance on top after this!

Hi Wacka,
Welcome to Sunline Owners Club!
You for sure have a "project" camper there. Yes, they are all fixable and you are "into" it! Good for you and we are here to help as we can and cheer you on.
Consider making a repair post in the repairs and maintenance forum. And pics really help on these kinds of things. You can ask questions and others who come behind you can learn from you.
If you need any help, this is the place for Sunline info!
Thanks
John
