More Newbies...
Greetings,
We just brought home a 2004 Sunline T1950 today. This is our first trailer, we're upgrading from a tent. I've been reading this forum for the last few weeks, and appreciate all the help and tips. I am sure I will have some questions as time goes on. We have loved the Sunlines since we started going to the RV Shows a few years ago, and needed to save enough money to get one. And now we have one...

Hi and welcome!
We just bought our trailer last fall because we got tired of replacing air mattresses every couple of months. We got to use it for the first time Easter weekend and LOVE it!

Welcome
Welcome Roy and DeAnn to the club. We are going on our 2nd year with a 2005 T1950 and absolutely love it. We went from a tent to a popup to our Sunline. I know you will really enjoy yours. This is the only Forum that I ever check and there is so much knowledge here on Sunlines and TT. This is the best group of people and they love to answer your questions so don't hesitate to ask.

Roy & DeAnn,
Welcome to the group and wonderful world of Sunline ownership. You have purchased one of the best made trailers made. As previously stated, if you have any questions, this is the place to get your answers.
SunlineFan is our resident Sunline historian, so if you'd be willing to give him the info about your trailer. he'll ad it to his wonderful collection.
I see you are in Lancaster County ?, maybe you would consider coming to the 2010 Sunline Meet n Greet to be held in Mexico, PA June 11 thru 13. This is such a wonderful event, and lots of Sunline ALL in one place. People are great, FOOD is fantastic and plentiful, plus lots of useful tips & mods for your rig.
OH, yeah, we LOVE to see pictures of Sunlines, and anything you do to it, so if you are able to, we'd love to see your Sunline,
Kitty

Thanks for the welcome! Yes we are in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, not too far from Sunline's home. Question about the Sunline event in Mexico in June... Is it in the campground on the south edge of town?
I'll be glad to post a few pictures of the trailer as soon as I figure out how.

Welcome Roy & DeAnn!
I guess you could say Buttonwood is on the south edge of town. I don't know the area all that well to know what other campgrounds are around. Buttonwood is right almost in town and I'm tempted to say runs the length of the town. It is on River Road. There used to be two campgrounds on River Road right outside of Mexico, but they bought the one on the river side and made everything Buttonwood. While you could request a site on the river side, the group primarily meets in the upper section so we have more room for gathering and so there is room for all of us. The riverside sites are much smaller and quite a few down there are seasonals.

Welcome to the Sunline Club. As past 1950 owners you have made a great choice in your model. We loved our 1950 but have since moved up to the 195 SR. We hope to see you at Buttonwood.

Hi Roy and DeAnn
Welcome to Sunline Owners Club. Glad you found us and your Sunline
Yes we too came up thru the tent, then the PU and into a Sunline. Heard so many good things about them we had to check them out for our selves. We looked and looked at brands, at least 25 different ones and then walked in our first Sunline and it said “WOW” instantly the minute you walked in. We looked some more at other brands after that but nothing compared, nor still does. Well that was now 2 Sunlines ago. We have some here on SOC that have had many Sunlines, I think the record is 18… Kitty is that right?
Happy camping and looking forward to hearing about your adventures.
John

Welcome to the club! Yes, please join us at Buttonwood. And if you ever see a Sunine with a Tweety tire cover on the spare stop in and say hi to us.
