Smile Hi, I am Dave. New Owner of Sunline

I just bought a 87 Sunline Seville and it is in really nice shape. I would like to seal the roof but not sure if it is rubber or metal? Any help would be appreciated, I didn't see anything in the manuel.

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the Sunline Owners Club. I had a T-2251 which also had a metal roof. My 2007 T-2553 has a rubber roof. I'm not sure when the switch to rubber happened. Any RV dealer in your area should be able to suggest something to seal the roof. Check in the Tab section at the top of this page for suggestions. Also there are many people on this site who can offer suggestions. I've used a material called dicor to seal around vent pipes and other roof openings. Again, welcome!

Welcome, Dave! Enjoy your new-to-you Sunline. This is a great place to get questions answered.

Should definitely be an aluminum roof. The transition to rubber happened in the early '90s, with rubber roofs becoming available on trailers 23' and longer in about '93 and the then everything in either '95 or '96.
