Hi Ginns,
Welcome and congrats on your new Sunny!
There appears to be some missing digits in you VIN number, see and have a look again at the tag.
Modern day VIN numbers have 17 characters and you only showed 14, which would be 3 missing.
The Sunline manufacture 3 digit code is 1LC and is always the first 3 digits on a Sunline camper. You have the LC but it looks like the 1 is missing. Maybe it is faint or broken off? Have a look. This explains 1 of the 3 missing digits.
But using 1LC2S2K28RD2119 while it is still missing 2 digits, and they appear to be at the very right end of the number, they would follow the 9. All the other digits are of something real, meaning the letters and numbers are in a good order and they come out to something actual, it just seems like the last 2 digits are missing or Sunline did something different.
The R in the 10th position points to 1994 as a model year. And the D after it points to the Sunline Denver plant. Those 2 letters are in the correct space, assuming the 1 starts at the very beginning which you did not list.
If you are trying to register the camper, the VIN has to be sorted out. There is another place in the camper the VIN could show up. At the main entry door, there is a threshold plate at the base of the entry door. It is normally held down with screws, take the screws out and there may be a tag under it with the full VIN number.
I cannot be sure that your camper is a 1994. If the outside of the camper has not been painted over, we can help back into a year from the colors and graphics used. We can also help with a model number too even if it is painted by seeing all 4 sides of the outside.
If you need help on year, have a look at the tag on the camper tongue for the missing digits and under the door plate. See if the plate of cracked off and the missing numbers went with it. Give us the number and we can confirm the year.
Posting pictures of all 4 outside walls so we can see where all the doors and windows are, along with original colors and graphics we help confirm the year and let us back into a model buy using the sales brochures we have on the forum in the FILES section.
To post pics, there are 3 ways to add them to a post.
1. Upload pics to a specific post attaching them at the end of the post.
2. Linking them in from a public viewable web photo hosting service you have.
See here for 1 and 2

3. You can upload pics to the forum in your own personal photo album. Then link them to anywhere in the text of a post. See here on how to create an album.

If you still get stuck, let us know. Pic's go a long way in helping show things you are working on, and we really like seeing Sunline pics!
Hope this helps
