Hi!

Hi, my name is Anita and I just purchased a T1700 which was made in 1994. It is 17'10" long. This website is fantastic and I have been reading up on all of the great information that you have provided. Thank you

We haven't camped in our new (to us) camper yet because we are cleaning and repairing it. The roof was so bad it looked like it had barnacles on it! We cleaned it using Awesome cleaner from the dollar store (thanks for the recommendation Sunline Owner's Club.) Slow but sure the camper is coming together...one good thing is that the upholstery was in really good shape.

Thank you once again for providing such useful advice.

Hi and welcome..a word of caution about your roof. First I will assume it is a metal roof since you scrubbed it with Awesome --if so...then check those so -called barnacles and make sure they aren't just dirty sealant that you may have to now replace. Second..Awesome is a fantastic cleaner but I wouldn't use it on a rubber roof. You have to be careful with those..such as using certain cleaners and sealants. Metal roofs are more forgiving!! Janalee

Thank you Janalee, Jim, and Gene.

Janalee, thank you for the info (we appreciate all that we get.) I double checked with my husband and he was positive that the barnacles were moldy stuck on tree stuff and not caulking. We did double check the caulking and replaced the cracked stuff around the vent pipe (thank you Sunline Club Members....we used a hairdryer to remove it all (as suggested) and it peeled off, as you said, like "stale taffy."
