Hello to all from CT

HI,
I just recently came upon this forum while looking for info on our trailer. I would first like to say what a fantastic resource of such relevant information. I am looking forward to reading more and contributing what I can.

This is our second trailer. After years of tenting my then girlfriend and I bought an early 70's Prowler camper on the cheap. We each put in $600 and figured we would see if we really liked the whole trailer camping vacation idea. We soon realized we loved it. Everything about it except how much time I was spending trying to keep the Prowler in one piece. So 7 years later I am searching and searching and find the 92 Sunline Solaris T-2470 at a nearby dealer. 13 years old and still looked great. Most importantly everything worked and for the 2 extra feet we got our forward bedroom. My now wife said go for it and we couldn't be happier.

We love the floor plan so much. At least for us it is great because we have our space and the kids love the bunks in the back. The dinette can actually stay a dinette for rainy or buggy mealtimes and of corse games. The kids both still say they would rather be at the campground by the fire then stuck in a hotel room so everybody is happy.

We just got back from Acadia and Bar Harbor and are heading upstate NY for big family get together off the grid on labor day (if the solaris gets out of the shop. That's another topic for a post I want to ask opinions on)

We look forward to talking with you and reading more from the forum.

Dan & Laramie

Thanks

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying reading through the forum. So many great ideas and info. We have been 10 years with a camper. 3 with the Sunline and learning great new tricks here.
RV shop called tonight to say repairs are complete so I'll be picking up tomorrow. I want to look at the binder I have in it to see if there are any docs to add here.
Have a great weekend.

Dan & Laramie (The DW loves that her name is on the truck)
