Hello Everyone.
Hello All,
Just picked up a 1979 Sunline travel trailer on 3/25/17. Didn't know the model or much about it. Did some searching and it brought me here.
Turns out its a 15 SC. It is rough, has some leaks, no fridge, rusted metal appliances. Leaking holding tanks.
My plan is to update it for my family. Me, Heather , 2 teens, and 2 dogs.
Chad

Hi Chad,
Welcome to the club! Glad to have you and congrats on your new project....
These campers are all fixable with common wood tools and know how. We can help fill in some of the how to, where do you get that and how is this put together.
Pictures go a long ways in these kind of activities. We can see what you are up against and help better. When the time comes, create a post in the Repairs and Maintenance and have at it.
The best of luck to you on your future restoration project.
John

Thanks for the welcome. Weather not the greatest here right now. Went out and warmed it up with Buddy heater. Started to remove few doors. Then Heather called me in for supper.
Got to get familiar with the layout of this site. Will get some photos soon.
Chad

Hi Chad,
Welcome! We love projects and pictures so share away. If you click on my profile or John's or Tommie's for that matter, you can see what we are working and also conversations and pictures on how we fix things. You can probably find all you need to fix yours up at Home Depot, Amazon or Ebay.
ATB,
Steve P.

Thanks guys,
Downloaded the brochure. I have a 79 15 SC (sub compact) The brochure says I have electric breaks, but the wire harness has been modified to 4 pin.
Don't know how important having breaks is, it pulled 6 hours home without issues.
Is now the time for me to start a questions thread???
My dakota is set up for towing. I think I like the idea of trailer breaks.
