Hello

Was told about this site from Jim Shepherd. Glad he did, there’s alot of great info here!!! We bought a 1993 T-1740 about 1 1/2 years ago. First time camper owners for us. We have always been tent campers. We live in Virginia. I’ll be searching out info on roof leaks. Glad to be here.

Welcome Jim! Thanks for sharing a pic of your 1740. I'm not sure why but it seems like it's always more uncommon to see '93 Sunlines compared to the years around it.

That’s an interesting bit of info. I’ve seen other sunlines that are similar to ours but not exactly the same. Perhaps it’s because they are the years right around it.
Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome Jim!

Nice looking camper setup you have. Thanks for sharing.

Your quest on info on roof leaks, yes we can help. Look over the "Repairs and Maintenance" forum here https://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f71/

If you need more help, create a post on the needs in that same Repairs forum and post and ask away.

Add some pics of the roof from different directions as a start. We see you already figured out how to post a pic, GREAT!. Pics go a long way in helping to show what you are up against.

And, tell us some info about any leaks you see, where they are and if anything has been done to try can stop the leaks.

Roof leaks can and do happen, siding leaks also can and do happen and many times, you can have both going on at the same time. There may be more then one leak spot and most times there are several, not just one. We can help you on the search to find and correct all of them.

Hope this helps and happy camping this season.

John

Thank you JohnB. I have been looking over past posts for a week now. So much to learn from them. The more you read, the more you realize how much more there is to learn. You are a real asset to this site with all your Sunline knowledge. I should be getting the moisture meter any day now, and after I investigate with that, I’m sure I’ll have questions on how to approach the problem. For now the camper is covered again.
