Hello!

My husband and I purchased our first camper a few months ago. A cute little 18" that we got for a steal! Some minor upgrades and lots of work and love later, we have our homy little camper. I grew up camping in a Sunline. We did not leave the inside original, as we wanted to personalize the inside and make it brighter. We painted and put down wood flooring. We hope to paint the outside at some point, the decals are a little faded.

Welcome! Glad to hear you're continuing the family legacy! Camping in a Sunline in SE PA is like legendary.

Welcome.

Looks bigger than 18"(note: you typed inches not feet) LOL. . Is it really 18 footer? Looks like a T-1550....about 1983. If so 15'-11" total length, including tongue.

Nice color interior.

Again welcome. I love to see the older models....I'm bias as I have a small older model myself.

Pictures, yes indeed!

Welcome! I too am biased towards the older models. I agree that this is a T-1550, and probably not a 1985, but earlier. Mine is a 1985 and the outside color scheme is different. Jon (SunlineFan) should be able to tell you exactly what year it is, as he is an expert at identifying Sunlines.

I like what you did with the inside, it looks nice and bright. Happy Camping!

Jenny

Welcome! Nice looking camper, especially for its age. Good-looking dog too!

Thanks for the corrections! I was going by what the previous owner said. The certificate in the wardrobe says the model number is 1523B (though a little difficult to read) and it's around 13 feet. Not sure where I thought the other 5 feet were! Haha. Maybe I'll look around a little more.

It was very well taken care of. No leaks and no smell. The only real problem we had was some rotted flooring where the hot water tank burst because it was not winterized. It was an easy fix, though. It does not have an awning and I am trying to figure out a way to get one without paying $1000. A pop-up canopy will do for now.

We camp at Thousand Trails, and everyone else has these large bumper pulls, 5th wheel or RVs that are like moving houses. That's not how I remember camping. I love my little camper. It's just our preference.

It's a 1982 15 1/2' SB! The 15.5' SB is the predecessor to the 1550, and are essentially the same. Sunline redid the model numbering system in 1983, so yours is one of the last with the old 'name'. Btw, SB stands for Super Bath, and it would be 15'11" from tip to tip. All Sunlines are measured tip to tip, not box length.

Thanks, Jon! I would have never known that. I wonder what they mean by super bath, lol. Ours is so tiny we can't use it. We basically use it as additional storage.

Not sure, but I agree, they are tiny. The larger SB's had a full tub though.
