Happy to be Sunline owners

Good morning all. I hope its ok that my husband, Gary, and I will share this account. I saw no reason for joining twice We will be sure to identity ourselves when posting.
Well, after a summer of searching without luck, we finally found a great RV. We have had many types of camping vehicles through the years...the first was a 1978 Chinook with a pop up top...and now, as of two days ago, our first Sunline, a 2003 T-1950. Beautiful condition inside, needs some sticker tlc on the outside, and from what I have read so far this is how it goes..lol
Never, not ever, a leak and that is a true blessing.
This forum is a blessing, too, with so much great information from all of the knowledgeable and kind people posting here. So I will be posting some of my questions, soon, as we want to give our great camper the best care possible.

Today is the eclipse so protect your eyes while viewing!

G'Day!!

Karen

Welcome Karen!

Make sure to inspect those roof seams to ensure it stays leak free!

Thank you both for your welcome!

Sunline Fan, I've been trying to learn as much as I can. I haven't gotten on the roof yet but I do know that it is a rubber roof. I checked out some info on here about rubber roof care...bleach mix and Tide (who would've known) to keep it clean. I will make sure to check the forums for advice on the seams. I do want to make sure to be ahead of any chance of water making it inside. I don't see any signs of anyone adding caulking, or any sort, but I have read differing ideas (on the internet) on what to use. I hope to do the right thing!

Janalee..you are right....I love it! I just got home from work and took a few minutes to hang around in it and just take it in that it is mine! lol Such a well planned space for only 19.5ft.
Thank you I will see if I can post some pics soon.
More to come with questions

Take care...Karen of Karen and Gary

Hi Karen,

Don't try to walk on your roof! A walk-on roof was a very rare option, most Sunlines never got it unless it was special ordered and had a ladder.

In order to walk on it, you need to boards down between the rafters.
