Greetings from NJ!

We just purchased a 2007 Sunline Solaris T-286SR and we are so excited! This is our third RV so we're not new to RV'ing, but we are new to the Sunline line. Any and all help, hints and suggestions are gladly welcomed. Also, looking for an owner's manual for this unit. Thanks!

Hi! I'm in Atlantic County, Mullica Township which is about 20 miles northwest of Atlantic City. Prior to the Solaris, we owned a Fleetwood toy box and later a Forest River Georgetown class A. I've heard lots of good word about Sunline and am happy to find this group.

Welcome dmbnorth!

Congrats on your Sunny! The T-286SR and it's prior model, the T280SR front kitchen layout is fairly popular. That is a very nice camper.

We have copies of the owners manuals here on our site, when you are logged into the site, you can download a copy for free from our files section.

In case you have not yet found our FILES section, there is a lot of great resource info in there. Including most all of the sale brochures from way back when, owners manuals, appliance manuals and other good stuff.

The sales brochure has a lot of good info on your model camper that is hard to come by in one organized spot. Just scroll to your year and download a copy. Same for the owners manuals.

To get to the FILES section, you have to be logged in. Look up top along the forum for the words "FILES". That is a tab, click it. Then select the area you want to go to can read on for hours, days, maybe even weeks...

A heads up, RV camper owners manuals are not like an automobile owners manual that gives exact instructions on most everything in your auto. The camper owners manual talks more in general and things to help you along the way. For the actual appliances, there are owners manuals with very details info on them from the manufacturer of the appliance. We have many of those in the files section too. If your model is not there, give us the make and model no. on the appliance and we can help search for it too, then add it to our files section for future help to others.

You are also welcome to ask any and all questions about your camper. Just create a post in the appropriate forums and ask away. We have many areas already answered in old post, but we have no problem with asking questions you need help on.

Hope this helps

John

Thank you for the info

I was able to locate and print the floor plan, brochure, and general owner's manual with help from the files on this forum. We expect to take possession of the unit next week so I will have more detailed info on the appliances and other features. I seriously appreciate having this group where I can learn about/from others' experiences and solutions. Thank you!

We've looked at DE as a retirement location but my only son and now a grandson are here in Jersey. I'm lookin forward to the escapes we will make in our Solaris, but this will always be my home. So glad you responded! Happy travels!

Your welcome dmbnorth, this is the place for Sunline info.

While we have a lot already posted, on most anything, if you can't find something, just ask. We have a good number of talented folks here in the club willing to share. On your vintage Sunline, we can help with just about anything that needs fixing or troubleshooting that you want to know about the camper. Just ask when the time comes.

John
