Rod F is an unknown quantity at this point
Good Morning, glad to find the club!

I recently purchased a 22 foot 1987 Sunline Satellite that is 75% restored. I am in the process of finishing it and am in search of some information to verify the information that I have. I have the vin but cannot find a model number on it, which would give me the info I need. I have no title yet, just a bill of sale. The year I verified with the vin, but the length? I purchased it as a 22 foot, the box measures 19’-6” x 7’-9” and 22”-6” bumper to ball, I do not know which to use. I am going to get it inspected and apply for a tag in the next week and would like to have some correct info on it.
Vin # 1LC2S1K23HD221608
Thanks,
Rodney Farmer

Hi Rodney,

Welcome!

Your VIN does decode out as a 1987 model camper. The model number itself is not in the VIN.

We do have the 1987 sales brochure here on the forum in our files section. There are 6 models in the 87 brochure that are declared as 22' 7" long in the Satellite series.

T-2250
T-2251
T-2260
T-2261
T-2262
T-2263

All 6 have different floor plans. Since you know the league of length, ball to bumper, and Sunline declared it as 22' 7", then you just have to back into which floor plan aligns with the model number. Hopefully the original floor plan is still intact enough to sort this out.

To get to the files section, you need to be logged into the forum.
At the top of the forum are tabs, look for the word "FILES" click it.

Once into the files section, scroll down to the "Sunline Brochures" section. Go in there and find the 1987 sales brochure and down load a copy.

Curious on how you make out. Please post back.

Hope this helps,

John
