Hi,
The camper is fixable, it is more cost effective to do the work yourself then to hire it out. Hiring the work out can easily overcome the cost of the camper.
Pending what the water damage is, the repair could be time consuming, but doable. This all comes down to a labor of love. We have had some members do very extensive repairs. And some rebuilt the entire camper that came out very nice. Sort of like those who restore old time cars/trucks/houses/boats etc.
As to is it worth it, worth in these cases is in the eyes of the beholder. If your looking at taking an old gem and fixing it up to go have a good time camping, this could be your special one. If you are looking at this from a financial standpoint verses time spent on doing it, this is going to harder question to answer.
If you can show us some pics of the camper and the damage we may be able to help explain what it may take a little better.
Hope this helps.
John
