Bought an old camper
Hello all,
We have RV’ed for many years and been in all 50 states. After 10 years in a Lance slide-in, we decided to change to bumper pull. Shopped for some time to find an older 21’ camper in good condition with a floor plan that could work for us. We found this 93’ Sunline Solaris (23’) in so-so condition save for a pristine original interior. Never heard of Sunline.
8 months later, the Lance is sold, and the Sunline received new hubs/brakes/wheels/tires, some plumbing fixes, stripes, roof resealing, and new lights all-around. Also, got some upgrades with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, a Rear View Camera, a 12volt TV, and Electrical upgrades (external generator, inverter, 12Volt plugs, and USB plugs throughout). She is ready for 2) 10-day/2500 mile trips planned for this year. Still some things need to be done like awning and front window cover, but isn’t that how it usually is with any RV?
Now…by surprise we discovered this forum and found out that there is an actual following for the Sunline. We have enjoyed browsing through the posts and are excited to borrow some great ideas that we have found so far.

Welcome! Congrats on your new coach. Yes, Sunline was a very east coast centered brand, with a dealer network mostly east of the Mississippi. Especially in the '90s and before. But you're right, with almost 65,000 of them out there, there's a decent following. It looks like yours has been slightly redecorated outside, but it still looks in good shape. We're here to help if you have any questions!

Welcome Destinations!
Glad you found us. Your camper looks great! and the work you have done is super!
Best of luck to you on your road trip. It would be great to see some of your camping stops along the way.
If you ever need and help on the camper, this is the place for Sunline info and we are glad to help.
Safe travels.
John
