Almost a 2363 owner!

We're very excited to have found a nearly new 2007 2363 and are expecting to pick it up at the end of the week. I'll be having the fun of making a list this weekend for equipping the trailer and would appreciate any suggestions. This will be so luxurious compared to our tenting days and days in the 20 year old pop up. We live in New England and have loved camping in Maine. For our first excursions, we'd like to try some places closer to home in Connecticut and Massachusetts and are checking out our camping guides, but some personal recommendations would be welcome.

We are so pleased to be joining the Sunline owners family.

Connie and Craig

Welcome and congrats!!! As far as equipment, check out the following forum

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/ph...hlight=top+ten[url]

We too graduated from a pop-up. Hope you find many enjoyable trips in your new Sunline!!! As far as where to go, did you check the campground section of the forum. It may not have much now but it grows as we do. Again, welcome............Marshall & Sue

Two years ago, I made a return visit to Plymouth, MA. I had not been there since 1971: The area changed dramaticallly, but it was well worth the trip. We stayed at Pine Wood Lodge Campground. Here's the link:

http://pinewoodlodge.com/index.php

It's a nice, wooded campground. Even though it is large, it was quiet and relaxing. It is family oriented. We were there near the end of October, so they had a campsite decoration contest and Halloween activities for the kids.

thank you

Thank you for you responses. The lists are in progress and the link to the other forum for the some times forgotten necessities is very helpful. The campsite near Plymouth looks very promising. We too went to Plymouth when our children were younger but haven't been in a long time. The deep sea fishing and whale watching near by also looks like fun.

Nice to know more experienced and helpful Sunliners are only an email away.

Connie and Craig,

Welcome! You will love your T2363. We bought our first TT in March - a 2006 T2363. It is a great floorplan. I know you will have many years of happy camping ahead of you.

We spent a weekend at Beach Rose RV Park in Salisbury Mass on our way up to Acadia. The owner is terrific and helps everyone back into their site upon arrival. If you haven't backed in before this would be a nice perk for a first trip. It's also very entertaining There's a bicycle path to the beach, and the town of Salisbury is small but cute. The campground is clean and well kept.
On the way back from Acadia we stopped at Wells State Park near Sturbridge, Mass. There are no hookups there, so it's dry camping, but it's beautiful and close to Sturbridge. Some of the sites would be VERY difficult to get into, but if you call and make your reservation on the phone I'm sure the ranger can guide you to an appropriate site for a trailer. LOTS of mosquitos here, bring OFF.

no more "almost"

Craig and I picked up our nearly new 2363 yesterday and it's sitting in our yard as we outfit her for the maiden voyage next week. We're starting out by staying at a campground not too far from home and will have the fun of being tourists in our own state. The following week we hope to head off to upstate NY to visit family.

We continue to be so impressed with the quality of our Sunline and can hardly wait to really test her out next week. Thanks again for your kind responses and we look forward to sharing stories and information as time goes on.

I bet you’re all smiles .

Smart idea about staying close to home on the maiden voyage.

Have a fun camping week-end and enjoy your new Sunline.
