1983 SunLine T-1550 owners
We purchased a well taken care of 1983 SunLine T-1550 16' travel trailer in Oct 2012. We reno'd it by putting in new carpet & new counter top. The oven & heater doesn't work still, but don't really need those. Cleaned it up & it works perfectly for our purposes: weekend folk festivals! We did paint it some so need the decals on front & back.

Welcome wmDollahite,
Congrats on joining Sunline Owners Club and your Sunline!
We too are for the most part, weekend campers. Hitch up and take a little escape from the week long grind at work... The only thing better, is doing it all week long! LOL
Happy camping this year and looking forward to seeing and hearing of your camping adventures.
John

See this post for help
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f6...club-7650.html
If you have pics on a photo server, see the postage stamp looking icon (4th one from the right, yellow) in the advanced reply, click it, paste in the picture url ending in jpg and in comes the pic.
Or you can upload them to the site server too. See the post at the end for instructions.
If you need help, ask away.

Well, it let us down
Headed out to the biggest Folk Festival in Florida, had the old trusty camper all packed & ready to go. It was a super hot, sunny day & we left out about 4pm, got about 5-6 miles down the hot pavement & felt some shimmying, pulled off & sure enough the trailer tire had a 12" sidewall plug to come off the tire. We went to the nearest place for changing the tire & put on the spare. Went about 10 miles & it went flat! WTH? So road service thru our insurance wouldn't help us, it was after 5 on a Thursday & we were 20 miles from tire stores anyway. We left the trailer & found a Tractor Supply open that had only 2 trailer tires, so we got those, put one on, when down the road, darn if it wasn't acting the same way, like it wasn't going to make it. Needless to say, we gave up, limped back home & parked her. Paid $180 for tires, $180 for motel room + food for the weekend instead of the "free" camper weekend we had planned. I'm sure God knows why it wasn't meant to be, it certainly could have been worse. Anyway hubby took the last tire back, as it was out of round. Figure the first one just had gone flat from the heat & maybe high pressure. The spare was old, same thing-heat + age. Checked the axle & spindle, All's good. Put on a new tire, went down the road, All's fine now! Go figure!
