slide room

We have a 286 2006, this is our first long trip. We were driving thru some very rainy conditions for about 6 hrs. When we set up we noticed the stationary rug in front of the futon was soaking wet.

Now that we do not have our 2 yr warranty, we called the Lippert company of the slide thinking there was a mechanical problem. We also noticed on the top left side of the slide where the decorative molding is we have a space about 1 " .

We had a slide repair person come to our site to check it out only to find the slide room was not cut square,hence the space on top.

Now, the water he had no idea why. We'll have to wait and see he could not find any open areas underneath that would cause water to come in.

Will let you know if it happens again.

Anyone ever have a problem like this

I would hope that on a 2006 model it would be okay, but have you checked the rubber molding/seal to make sure it is intact and pliable?
