New 264SR
Just traded our 2006 2075 for a new 264SR. Only had the trailer for 8 months, but wanted to jump on the chance for a bigger one while we could still get one. Bought it at Campers Barn in Kingston, NY. They have a lot of Sunlines at very low prices.

Good question! We'd like to trade up from our 2002 T-2653 to a 264SR or 286SR. We're headed over to Imperial Trailer Sales (outside Troy) tomorrow to see what they have and whether they'll deal.

The first time we went there,we couldn't make a deal so we walked out. They called us two more times, each time with a better deal. Even with the loss we took on the 2075, out the door price was still cheaper than 3 other dealers we talked to were asking for their trailers. If you look on Campers barn website you'll see the good prices they're selling sunlines for. Was worth the 2-1/2 hr drive each way, 3 times.

Chili, let us know what Imperial has on its lot and if they are "dealing or not" - Troy or Kingston - makes no difference to us....except if we go to Kingston, we get to see the grandkids!!!!!

We stopped there today, looking at a 2007 264SR and fell in love with a 2007 299SR. Price and size (3 ft longer than our current).
He took took a lot off the MSRP ($36K) but only gave us wholesale on our T-2653. It's bigger than we were looking at, so we're still considering.
As to warranty, he said that most components are covered under the supplier's warranty and that he might be able to handle some of the small stuff, but with Sunline gone, the coach warranty isn't valid (like split cabinet doors for example).
In addition to the 299SR, he had a 2007 264SR with comparable discount (we're getting a price) and a NEW 2006 286SR that had everything on it - it's a brand new demo with halogen lighting, fiberglass sides, flat-screen TV, leather seating, etc. etc. Though enticing, it just wasn't for us, but it's a bargain for anyone interested. Price was listed on the site.
You might want to save yourself a trip and call him first: Gary Connell at 518-279-9345 or check his site: www.imperialtrailersales.com
Really nice guy. Would have dealt with him in the past, but Alpin Haus gave us a better deal and are only 3 miles from the house. it's a small shop and he's looking to make room for other brands.

We have a 264SR, no kids travelling with us, and so we really like the layout. it's a 2005 and we have had no problems except a defective stereo, which the factory swapped out for us before they went out of buisness. The rear outside compartment is great for storing guy stuff (I added pegboard to the rear and side wall, and a 110V outlet to it).
The only thing I find a little bit wanting is the layout when the SR is closed, in the rare event that use of the trailer is needed when travelling and stopped in a rainstorm or etc. It's a little difficult getting to the bathroom if so. But with the table raised, not too bad.

Yes, getting to the bathroom is a little difficult, but that's the price you pay for having the large L- shaped countertop with barstools.

You Upstate New Yorkers remind me of home. Use to live for 30 years in a litte town called Hudson, just across from Catskill in the land of Rip Van Winkle.
Amsterdam, Troy and Kingston are like going back home again...
Good luck on your campers.
John

Well, pending one's point of view... anything north of the "city" is "upstate" double LOL.
H'mm 4hours north, you must be up by Long lake or Potsdam maybe even a litte south by Lake George. Now that is upstate... and cold too about now.

Upstae/Downstate
Gotta agree w/ Poppy & Nanna; From where we sit here in Western NY anything between Albany & NYC is downstate to us to . Seriously though I like every part of our state and all the variety it has to offer...Everything except my tax bill that is !!!!!!!
